Edward Lu

Hey, I’m Edward Lu, a senior at Taipei American School and the founder of the iCARE Initiative. I launched iCARE in 2024 as a project in the Impact Youth Club to help address the eyecare crisis in Ladakh by donating sunglasses to those in need. In 2025, I led the team to expand our mission, bringing youth education and medical charity programs directly to Ladakh through our summer charity trip. I'm excited to keep pushing iCARE’s impact even further!

Hey, I'm Yan Milman. I go to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory here in San Francisco. I lead the California branch of the Impact Youth Club, and I'm one of the members participating in the iCARE charity trip to Ladakh.

Hey, I'm Liya Milman. I'm a 10th grader at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco, California. Outside of school, I enjoy biking, martial arts, traveling, and baking. I'm one of the team members participating in iCARE's Ladakh charity trip.

Hello, I’m Angela! I love singing, drawing, and playing basketball. These activities let me express myself in different ways—whether it’s through music, art, or being active on the court. I enjoy exploring my creative side while staying energized and having fun.

Hey I'm Isabelle, a 12th grader at WHRHS. I first got involved with I-Care through my role as vice president at IMPACT. I was particularly drawn to the project because of my own personal experience with visual impairment. This experience made me realize how crucial each sense is, especially sight.

Hey, I’m Annabella! I love singing, playing the violin, and capturing moments through photography. Whether it’s performing or snapping photos, I just really enjoy expressing myself and helping others shine too. If you ever need someone to take pics, I’ve got you covered!

Samantha Lin

Hey, I’m Samantha, a junior at Taipei American School and the founder of SasaSparkles (sasasparkles.com). It's a teen store that sells jewelry, clothes, and themed items both online and at monthly pop-up booths around Taipei, and all the proceeds go towards charity. As a micro-influencer, I also love using my brand to share our work and raise funds for ICare. Being part of ICare has given me such a cool way to channel my creativity into something meaningful, and I’m excited to keep growing and giving back!
